The Medieval Department has some 140 works on display in 14 rooms – from Old Italian devotional pictures and large altarpieces by Netherlandish, Westphalian and Cologne masters all the way to early northern European portraiture.

We shall present a small selection on this tour. Simply click on the room in question on the plan below and visit the Wallraf from the comfort of your own home.
