In memory of Marisol Corboud

Marisol Corboud passed away on 29 April 2026. Since the death of her husband Gérard in 2017, she had served as President of the Fondation Corboud. She always felt a close connection to the Wallraf-Richartz Museum and its team. For many years, Ms Corboud was deeply committed to the city’s oldest museum – and in particular to the construction of the extension. She was able to witness significant milestones on the long journey towards the building’s completion – the ground-breaking ceremony and the laying of the foundation stone. 
The staff of the Wallraf-Richartz Museum & Fondation Corboud will always remember Marisol Corboud with deep gratitude.
