Countdown

After 25 successful years, during which we have hosted more than 50 major special exhibitions and welcomed four million visitors, we now need to renovate our museum building. We will therefore be closing our museum from 3 August 2026 for a complete refurbishment. At the same time, an extension to house our large Impressionist collection is currently being built on our neighbouring site. We will reopen both buildings at the end of 2028 as the new Wallraf-Richartz Museum & Fondation Corboud. Until 2 August at 6 pm, the following opening hours and admission prices apply:

Opening hours

Tuesday to Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
1st and 3rd Thursday of the month: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
On public holidays*: 10 – 18 Uhr

*Good Friday, Easter Monday, May 1st, Ascension Day, Corpus Christi, and Whit Monday

Admission fees

Adults: 10,- Euro (per person)
Concessions: 7,- Euro (per person)
Children: Free admission (up to age 18)

Cloakroom

All bags larger than A4 format (29,7 x 21 cm) must be handed in at our cloakroom in the foyer! This service is free of charge. You can also leave your coat or jacket here free of charge.
