WALLRAF-RICHARTZ-JAHRBUCH
The Wallraf-Richartz-Jahrbuch is one of the most prestigious art journals in Germany, which enjoys a long tradition. It is published on behalf of the Friends of the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum and Museum Ludwig e. V. by the director of the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum & Fondation Corboud.
Leading researchers have been publishing here since 1924. As an academic discussion forum of international importance, it addresses all questions relating to art history, art technology, collection history, and provenance research from antiquity to the present day.
The reputation of the yearbook extends far beyond the German-speaking world. This is demonstrated not least by the presence of the yearbook in numerous international libraries and the regular submission of contributions from across Europe and overseas.
The yearbook follows a peer review process with double assessment of all contributions. The scientific standards are reflected in the high-quality design of the printed yearbook. Two years after publication, all volumes are also available digitally on the JSTOR platform.
